About
Linda Bullwinkle is an enrolled agent, dedicated to helping individuals create positive change and achieve their goals. With an MBA and over 20 years of experience in the field, Linda has honed her skills in areas such as personal accounting, tax planning, and financial consulting.
Linda Bullwinkle received her BS degree from Cornell University and began her career in Marketing Communications, rising to a Director of Marketing Services for a global optical equipment manufacturer, moving to Vice-President, Marketing, and later Vice-President Operations, then Managing Director, Optical, at DAC Vision, the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of processing consumables in the industry. She ended her optical industry career establishing North American Operations in the US and Canada as Executive Vice President of the North American subsidiary of WECO, a German manufacturer of specialized lens processing equipment.
After acquiring her MBA (SMU) and having several positions in the service industry in Economic Development, she was recruited by Edward Jones and earned her Series 7 and 66 to serve as a Financial Advisor. Not enjoying the sales side of the business, Linda chose to focus her business and financial experience working with small businesses and individuals through the tax preparation, IRS representation and business consulting field. She earned her Enrolled Agent certification in July 2017 and her Certificate as a Tax Coach – a step in the path toward becoming a Certified Tax Planner – in October 2023.
In addition to assisting hundreds of individual and business clients with their tax matters, she has counseled dozens in their business planning and growth and has served to manage and close major estates. Linda’s breadth of experience throughout this distinguished career has uniquely positioned her to serve her clients in their business dealings and growth issues; personal tax and estate planning; and IRS dealings, State tax dealings and everything in between.
Favorite things I’ve Done or Do:
- Founded the Optical Women’s Association September 1997 to offer Leadership, Mentorship and Opportunity to women in the Optical Industry. President 9/1997 – 2001. Still going strong today.
